Chili Dinner (sans chili) In The Canyon

Every year we head up Provo Canyon for Chili Dinner in honor of Delaney's birthday. We always try to beat the cold weather, but it was awfully windy this time. Kenji had just learned to climb out of his crib that day and refused to nap, so he was in a very foul mood! To top it off, the chili was accidentally left warming on the stove so we were left to eat corn bread, Fritos, and brownies but no chili! Oh well, lessons learned for next year.

Gavin Degraw Concert

We absolutely love Gavin Degraw. We saw him in concert almost 5 years ago and have been waiting for him to finally come back. We went with Clint's friend Dave and my friend Heather and totally had a blast. Literally, my ears are still ringing!

Who Needs Toys?

I don't know why they are obsessed with with pulling all the towels out of the drawer, but they are!! They are going to eventually break it I'm sure, but for now it is just cute!

The babies turned 18 months on Monday and I can't believe how fast the time has gone! Carter weighs 22 lbs and Kenji weighs 23. They are both growing fine and doing all the things they should be to be healthy. We love them so and are so glad that they are healthy and happy.

Jack Johnson Concert

Pretty much the Burgi kids live to see Jack Johnson in concert (this was my 3rd time, Clint's 4th, and I'm not sure about Lance or Tricia, but I think this was Alyson's 5th time)! Tricia and Andy had seats and the rest of us had General Admission to the front right by the stage. It was an interesting experience since I hate being in tight spaces standing up with people I don't know! Jack is awesome and the Usana Amphitheater is nice so it was a good night in the end. All the grand kids stayed w/ Rod and Patsy so we could have a stress free evening.

Breaking Dawn/SYTYCD/The Closer

As most of you know, I love the Twilight series books. I still have a little ways to go in the new book Breaking Dawn and I am trying to hold myself back to make it last a little longer! My sister Michelle is already done and now she feels like she has no purpose in life anymore (Just Kidding!), but I always have a love/hate relationship with finishing a good book.

So You Think You Can Dance! My favorite sentence ever! I TIVO this show so that I can rewind and replay the best dances over and over. I am so sad for it to be the finale this week, especially since the only dancer missing from my personal Top 4 is Chelsea. I love these dancers and my sweet hubby is going to take me to see them when the show goes on tour.

Finally, The Closer. Do you have your PHD?(inside joke) I am so addicted to this show and now I am finally able to watch the current season since I watched the previous 3 on DVD in a matter of days! I am never disappointed after an episode and I totally look forward to Mondays for this and John & Kate plus 8!!
